For women, the glass ceiling for scientific management positions is a stark reality. This impression comes from reading the IHS (Institute for Advanced Studies) study on “Equality in Science and Research in Austria”, which includes data that generates awareness and provides the very best foundation for targeted action. It was exactly this responsibility that we bore in mind when designing the publication. In addition to the sophisticated information layout, an integral part of our work is a pictorial narrative addressing role models in daily work and life.
